December 3, 2002 To Whom It may Concern: A little over a year ago, I was charged with the task of locating, selecting and installing software for Project Management and Time Reporting. Our business is based upon the timely development of a custom programming solution for our customers. Some of the work is billable to the customer while some is free based upon the contract agreed to by our Sales people. 98% of all projects have a completion time of 2 weeks with some having multiple phases lasting for longer time periods. What we needed was an easy to use, reliable, server-based package to help us track our internal and external projects with time reporting for our technical staff with Invoicing and Reporting capabilities. In searching the web, I was fortunate to come across OfficeGT offered by BCA Technologies. After a short evaluation period, it became clear that I had found the answer our needs. I might also add that I tested at least 10 software packages before deciding on OfficeGT. My company has been a totally satisfied user of BCA OfficeGT and TimeSheets for the past year. We have just ordered the latest version enhancement, Release 2002, for our use. The cost of their software offering provides an outstanding benefits ratio. Even though we don't use all of the features of the software, we have been extremely pleased with the error free installation and use of the package. In addition to maintaining over 250 individual projects for 2001 to-date, we have captured the development time expended by our technical personnel as well. Most technical people just don't like to do paperwork but they have sure taken to the on-line capabilities of OfficeGT and Timesheet. Not only has it captured the main ingredients of our work effort, we have the ability to determine the billing status of each project that is set up and create Invoices for those billable projects each month. With an Access Database, OfficeGT provides us with the ability to handle any task we need to with the report formats supplied with the system or write our own. In summary, in my 44+ years of Information Technology experience, I can truly say that BCA has delivered one of the most reliable, cost-effective and user-friendly project management software packages on the market.
